Secret Path tells the story of Chanie Wenjack.
He was a 12 year old boy who died running away from a residential school.
The project consisted of a solo album, a graphic novel and an animated film.

Impact
The Prime Minister's tribute to Gord
After his death on October 17th, 2017, Canada mourned.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau released a statement to pay tribute to Downie.
The Toronto Maple Leafs held a moment of silence before their game on October 18th.
To honour his death, many Canadian radio stations played songs by The Tragically Hip and some even went as far as to change their names to Gord FM.
This is a sign that someone made a difference in the world and will be missed.
